"Currently 90%+ of children diagnosed prenatally with Down syndrome are targeted and terminated with no chance of escape once they have been labeled "defective" or "imperfect." With a non-invasive prenatal test for Down syndrome being introduced and recommended for all pregnant women in a culture obsessed with misguided perfection, clearly the most critical issue facing the Down syndrome community is extinction of these precious individuals."
