Not worthy to live? Hardly

Kathleen has Down syndrome. Today, 90 percent of babies who are diagnosed with Down syndrome before birth are aborted. Many of those born with this genetic disorder, if not most, are institutionalized or kept hidden in the shadows.

I know that there are many people in the world who don't approve of bringing babies into the world who have differing abilites. But it shocks me that the abortion rate of babies with DS is so high. I know 9 people in my SMALL city of about 15,000 wih DS and 4 of them are below high school age.
